“Partnering with Spleenlab allows us to push the boundaries of what’s possible in mission-critical UAV operations,” said Aviv Shapira, CEO and Co-Founder of XTEND. “Embedding advanced AI-based navigation directly into our systems, empowers our NATO users dramatically, by making XTEND’s drones more autonomous, intelligent, agile, and effective – while keeping operators out of harm’s way.”

Spleenlab’s cutting-edge VISIONAIRY® software combines AI-based sensor fusion with deep learning models enabling drones to perceive and interpret their surroundings in real time. This empowers XTEND’s aerial systems to independently navigate complex environments, avoid obstacles, and maintain operational effectiveness in GPS-denied zones.

“Our mission has always been to enable safe, scalable, and intelligent autonomy for unmanned and also airborne systems,” said Stefan Milz, CEO of Spleenlab. “Working with XTEND on real-world, high-impact applications is an exciting step forward – and a strong validation of the robustness, performance and flexibility of our navigation software.”
